Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor

Bishop’s Stortford | Hybrid Working

Are you a Residential Property Solicitor looking to work on higher-value, more complex transactions within a genuinely supportive and well-established team?

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a highly respected Top 200 UK law firm with a long-standing reputation for quality legal work and exceptional client service.

The firm has a strong presence across the region and acts for a broad private client base, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and families. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice where you can develop your career while working on a sophisticated and varied caseload.

The Role

You will join an established Residential Property team in Bishop’s Stortford, managing your own caseload and advising clients on a range of residential property transactions.

The work is varied and includes high-value sales and purchases, as well as more complex residential matters. You will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with clients and become a key point of contact throughout their transactions.

You will be supported by experienced senior lawyers while having the autonomy to take ownership of your work and develop your own profile within the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Acting for high-net-worth individuals and private clients on high-value residential transactions.
  • Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, equity release, shared ownership, and lease extensions.
  • Providing commercially focused, technically excellent advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients, referrers, and professional contacts.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to provide a complete service to clients.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on more complex transactions where required.
  • Contributing to networking, marketing, and business development initiatives.
  • Maintaining high standards of file management, billing, and time recording.
