Winners Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Truro in the search for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their growing Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified property professional to join a supportive and collaborative firm with a strong reputation across Cornwall. The successful candidate will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload while benefiting from ongoing professional development and genuine career progression opportunities.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own residential property caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and equity release matters
- Transfers of equity and gifts
- Auction property transactions
- Drafting loan agreements and legal charges
- Lease extensions and lease variations
- Residential lease drafting and renewals
- First registrations of title
- Transfers of part, including building plots
There may also be opportunities to gain exposure to commercial property matters depending on your experience and interests.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
- Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with AML regulations, source of funds requirements, and internal procedures
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties throughout transactions
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the property department
- Maintaining accurate file management and case progression
Requirements
We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), or working towards qualification via SQE/CILEX
- Previous experience handling residential conveyancing matters
- Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Good understanding of AML compliance and risk management
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
