Location: Salisbury (office based)
Hours: Full time
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience (from £40,000)
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (increasing with length of service)

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, delivering a smooth, efficient, and client-focused conveyancing service from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions.
• Conducting title checks, reviewing legal documentation, and identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, lease agreements, and related property documents.
• Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including AML, SRA/CQS, and lender requirements.
• Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications, and raising appropriate enquiries.
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.
• Proactively managing risks, resolving issues, and progressing matters efficiently.
• Managing client expectations and delivering an excellent standard of customer service.
• Supporting business development and client retention where appropriate.
