About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team in either the Nelson head office, or their new Salford office.
They don't just want a fee earner; they want a professional who values autonomy, technical excellence and helping drive a supportive culture. You will manage a caseload of residential property transactions (Freehold, Leasehold, Sales, Purchases). You’ll have the ownership and authority to manage your own clients, delivering the ‘trusted, expert legal services with a personal touch’.
This isn't just another Conveyancing role. they've built a structure to prevent burnout from constant interruptions and the stress of having to go it alone. This includes:
- Protected time to focus: They have a dedicated team answering the phones and sitting on reception so proper focus can happen. You get the space to work properly and not be your own secretary.
- Confidence and safety: You will have clear responsibility and control over your work, supported by strong processes and an open-door culture that ensures the team is always available to help. You’ll have the freedom to manage your tasks independently, while still feeling fully supported.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
