Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Conveyancing Solicitor, or Residential Property Lawyer looking for your next move in Sheffield?
We’re recruiting for an experienced conveyancing professional to join an established and highly regarded legal practice, managing a varied residential property caseload from initial instruction through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy having ownership of your files, building strong client relationships and working within a supportive, professional conveyancing team. We would particularly like to hear from experienced:
- Residential Conveancers
- Licensed Conveancers
- Conveyancing Solicitors
- Residential Property Lawyers
- Residential Property Fee Earners
You should have:
- Proven residential conveyancing experience
- Experience independently managing files from instruction through to completion
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent client-care and communication skills
- Good knowledge of legal compliance, risk, and AML requirements
- Experience managing a personal caseload against targets
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Experience using a conveyancing case management system
- The confidence to manage complex transactions and challenging client situations

You should ideally be a Licensed CLC Lawyer or hold an equivalent recognised legal qualification. Applications will also be considered from suitably experienced Residential Property Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, and equivalent qualified conveyancing professionals.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000–£55,000 salary

The Role
As a Residential Conveyancer, you will independently manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
You will act as a key contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other parties, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of client care and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
- Handling a varied residential property caseload
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Managing your caseload against agreed targets and timescales
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client files
- Using conveyancing case management systems
- Managing billing and outstanding monies
- Supervising or allocating work to a conveyancing assistant where required
- Identifying and escalating compliance, risk, or AML concerns
- Supporting business development activity where appropriate
