Conveyancing Solicitor

Location: Salisbury

Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid working optional

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays, increasing with length of service

The Opportunity

TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing law firm in Salisbury who are looking to strengthen their residential property team with the appointment of an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with 3+ years' residential conveyancing experience who is looking for a role where they can take ownership of their caseload, work closely with clients and play an active role in the continued development of a growing department.

The firm places a strong emphasis on high-quality client care, manageable caseloads and a supportive working environment, with excellent administrative support allowing fee earners to focus on delivering a first-class service.

The Role

You will manage your own varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction.

Your caseload will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Title checks and investigation of title
  • Reviewing and drafting contracts and property documentation
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Searches and Land Registry applications
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
  • Identifying and proactively resolving issues throughout the transaction
  • Ensuring matters progress efficiently and in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and lender requirements
  • Maintaining accurate case management records
  • Managing client expectations and delivering a consistently high level of customer service

About You

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with at least three years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently.

You will have:

  • A strong background in residential conveyancing
  • Experience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
  • Good knowledge of property law, Land Registry procedures and lender requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Experience using LEAP or a similar conveyancing case management system
  • A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service
