Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for high-quality work without an unmanageable caseload?
RecruitME is recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional to join the established Residential Property team in Sheffield.
This opportunity would suit a qualified conveyancing professional with around five years’ PQE or equivalent experience who can confidently manage residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

The role
You will independently manage a varied residential property caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New instructions through to exchange and completion
- Liaison with clients, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors
- Reviewing searches, enquiries, contracts and title documentation
- Maintaining accurate, compliant and well-progressed files
- Identifying and escalating AML, compliance and negligence risks
- Working closely with conveyancing assistants and support colleagues
The firm places a strong emphasis on client service, but also recognises the importance of providing its conveyancers with the support and resources needed to do the job properly.
About you
You will ideally be:
- A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional
- Experienced in managing residential conveyancing transactions independently
- Around five years’ PQE or possessing equivalent practical experience
- Technically confident across sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Comfortable managing your own deadlines and priorities
- Able to communicate legal matters clearly and practically
- Experienced with conveyancing case-management systems
- Committed to delivering excellent client care
