Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for Residential Conveyancers serving clients in the Woking area and across England and Wales. The role involves managing residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including land development, freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build and shared ownership matters, and transfers of equity.

- Reviewing titles and contract documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Drafting and checking contracts
- Preparing reports
- Overseeing exchange and completion arrangements
The role requires regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to provide clear updates, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with regulatory and firm-wide policies, maintain accurate file records, and contribute to process improvements within the conveyancing team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Residential Real Estate and conveyancing processes, including land development, freehold, leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and maintain professional relationships with clients and third parties.
- Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, consistently delivering responsive, reliable, and empathetic support throughout the transaction.
- Commercial awareness and Sales skills to help develop client relationships, support referrals, and contribute to the growth of the conveyancing practice.
- Professional legal qualification (e.g., solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive) or equivalent substantial conveyancing experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently in a remote working environment.
- Good IT literacy, including case management systems, digital document management, and online land registry and lender portals.
- Up-to-date understanding of relevant property law, lenders’ requirements, and regulatory and compliance standards in England and Wales.
