Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Darlington for a Residential Conveyancing Secretary. The role involves providing administrative and clerical support to conveyancers, including:

  • Updating case files
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments

Daily tasks include:

  • Managing phone and email inquiries

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering prompt and professional service.

Qualifications

  • Strong clerical skills, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and records management.
  • Effective communication abilities, with confidence in handling phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
  • Experience with company secretarial work or exposure to legal administrative processes is beneficial.
  • Executive administrative assistance experience, including diary management, scheduling, and task prioritization.
  • Customer service skills, with a focus on providing courteous, clear, and timely support to clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with conveyancing or property law processes is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in common office software and case management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in a legal, conveyancing, or professional services environment is preferred.
