Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, 3+ Years' PQE, Kent, GBP 40,000 : GBP 60
Join a busy Conveyancing team offering the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters within a supportive and growing department. Overview
You will manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- SDLT returns
- Title investigations
- Searches and pre-contract enquiries
You will also handle commercial property matters where required, including:
- The grant of commercial leases
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Lease renewals
- Deeds of surrender
- Refinancing transactions
- Acquisitions and sales of businesses involving commercial property

The role will also involve:
- Drafting and negotiating utility agreements and other ancillary documentation
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
- Ensuring files remain compliant with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
Application
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Residential Conveyancing and experience of handling commercial property matters. The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently with minimal supervision
Experience in business development and networking would be advantageous. Secretarial support is provided, and the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the department through business development and networking activities.
