Job Hours: Full Time (Flexible working hours are available upon discussion in interview)

Job Location: Based predominantly at our Burnley or Preston Office, with hybrid working available.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Solicitor, FCILEX or Licensed Conveyancer to join our friendly and supportive conveyancing team as we continue to grow. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, always ensuring the highest standards of client care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build properties
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents
  • Carrying out title checks and resolving any associated legal issues efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties to progress transactions smoothly
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance throughout each stage of the conveyancing process
  • Actively supporting the continued growth and strong reputation of our property team, with client care at the forefront.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for applicants who have the below qualifications and who can demonstrate: Essential:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters
  • Must be a Qualified Solicitor, FCILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Ability to manage your own caseload from instruction to post-completion with minimal supervision
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
