An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Development Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join a leading national law firm's highly regarded housebuilder and residential development team in Southampton.
This role offers the chance to work with a diverse and dynamic client base, including FTSE-listed housebuilders, as well as national and regional developers, supporting the delivery of large-scale residential projects and strategic land developments across the UK.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced and specialist team, you will advise on the acquisition of land for residential development, including both immediate and strategic sites. The role is client-facing and commercially focused, requiring close collaboration with colleagues across the firm and regular engagement with developers to help drive projects forward.

You will be involved in matters from early-stage site acquisition through to delivery, gaining exposure to high-quality work while developing strong technical expertise and commercial awareness.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in residential development or real estate
- Experience advising developers, ideally housebuilders, on site acquisition and development matters
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a national team
- Enthusiastic about client relationship management and business development
- Keen to grow technically and progress your career within a leading development practice
