Residential Development Senior Associate / Principal Associate
Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds
Join a leading national real estate team advising some of the UK's most prominent housebuilders and developers on major residential development projects. This role offers high-quality development work, significant client exposure and a clear platform for long-term career progression within a collaborative and growing team.
About the Role
- Lead and manage residential development transactions from inception through to completion.
- Advise housebuilder clients on immediate land acquisitions, strategic options and development projects.
- Work closely with colleagues across a national team to deliver seamless client service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major housebuilder clients.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team.
- Support business development initiatives, attend industry events and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

About You
- Significant experience acting for housebuilders and residential developers.
- A strong track record advising on land acquisition and development matters.
- Experience working with major national developers and ideally PLC housebuilders.
- Excellent technical ability coupled with strong commercial awareness.
- Experience supervising and developing junior team members.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working.
