Salary: £55,000 per annum
Permanent, Full-Time Position
Brookfield Residential Care Home is looking for an experienced and compassionate Residential Home Manager to lead our care home, support our dedicated team, and ensure our residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity, safety and support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is confident in leadership, compliance, and people management and is committed to creating a positive, person-centred environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential care home.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to the care team.
- Recruit, develop, supervise, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant care legislation, regulations, policies, and safeguarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate care records, documentation, and operational processes.
- Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor care quality and implement continuous improvements where required.
- Manage staffing, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive culture throughout the home.
- Lead by example and ensure residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing remain at the heart of the service.

Essential Requirements:

- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent).
- Previous experience managing a residential care home or similar care environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of care home standards, compliance, and safeguarding.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A professional, approachable, and supportive management style.
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
