Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: South East England - Sway (Exact location to be confirmed)

About The Role

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to advance your career?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking a passionate and committed Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive organisation dedicated to delivering outstanding, child-centred care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

As the Registered Manager, you will provide overall leadership, management, and day-to-day oversight of the home, ensuring full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operation of an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home.
  • Inspire, support and develop a high-performing team through effective leadership, supervision and coaching.
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation and company policies.
  • Promote a positive, child-centred culture where children feel safe, valued and empowered.
  • Develop and oversee tailored care plans that address each young person’s individual needs.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
  • Monitor and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage the home’s budget and resources efficiently and responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all statutory notifications and reporting requirements promptly.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving and sustaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
