Salary from £32,890 to £36,052 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £38,422 pa inclusive of London allowance

The Residential and Catering Services Division (RCSD) plays a vital role in shaping the student experience by providing first-class, affordable accommodation and catering services that support and enhance our diverse community.
We’re constantly developing and enhancing our Residential Life programme, which is multi-award-winning and known in the sector, and we are looking for a proactive, highly organised and systems-focused Residential Life Officer (Administration) to join our team. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Residential Life, this role will act as the administrative lead for Residential Life, helping the team to work efficiently, consistently and creatively.

Role
As Residential Life Officer (Administration), you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Residential Life across our halls of residence, including:
Administering and developing Residential Life SharePoint sites so information is accurate, accessible and easy for the team to use. Overseeing administrative processes for procurement and purchasing systems, including accurate records, tracking and follow-up. Coordinating team diaries, calendars, shared inboxes, meetings, recruitment, training and key annual activities. Supporting Residential Life events and student engagement activity through strong planning, communications and administration.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of using SharePoint, coordinating diaries and calendars, overseeing shared inboxes and supporting procurement or purchasing administration. You will be confident improving systems and processes, interested in introducing tools such as AI into everyday workflows, and committed to providing a first-class service for students and colleagues.
