We Are Currently Recruiting for a Residential Maintenance Engineer
Location:
On-site – London, GBR
Job Overview:
We are recruiting for a Residential Maintenance Engineer to work on one of our high-end, prestigious client sites in London Mayfair. The site is a mixed commercial and retail and residential building and one of the newest in the local area. The main aim of this role is to support the Supervisor and the team in maintaining the mechanical and electrical equipment and ensure we deliver our SLA and KPI as outlined and agreed. You will be an integral part of the established team on this site.
Working Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8-5 pm.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements with Level 3 Qualifications:
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Mechanical engineers with Level 3 maintenance qualifications should demonstrate competence in:
- HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair
- Plumbing systems including heating, water supply, and drainage
- Mechanical plant equipment operation and maintenance
- Pumps, motors, and control systems
- Energy management and building automation systems
- Preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Asset Management:
- Track equipment inventory, locations, and specifications
- Monitor asset lifecycle and depreciation
- Maintain equipment history and documentation
Maintenance Management:
- Schedule preventive maintenance tasks
- Log and track reactive maintenance requests
- Assign work orders to technicians
- Track maintenance costs and labour hours
Working on a similar Corrigo CAFM Computer-Aided Facilities Management platform that we use onsite.
Core Qualification:
A Level 3 qualification typically refers to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, equivalent to A-levels in the UK system. This would include:
- Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
- Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering
- Level 3 NVQ/SVQ in Facilities Management or Building Maintenance
- Level 3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
