About the Role

This is an exciting leadership opportunity in our Baptistare Glendale Lodge Facility in Elderslie for an experienced aged care professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident outcomes while leading high-performing teams.

As the Residential Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, financial, clinical and people leadership within the Home. You will champion a resident-centred culture, ensuring every resident receives high-quality care in a safe, welcoming and thriving environment.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will drive service excellence, foster staff engagement, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of the Home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operations of the Home, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and service delivery.
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents, families and employees.
  • Drive workforce planning, recruitment, retention, coaching and succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage financial performance, budgets, occupancy and available funding streams.
  • Maintain accreditation and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, WHS, Fair Work and relevant legislation.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, health professionals and community stakeholders.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee effective incident, risk and complaints management processes to ensure outstanding outcomes for residents and families.

About You

You are a confident and collaborative leader with a proven ability to inspire teams, drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Bachelor qualification in Nursing or Allied Health.
  • Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Minimum five years' clinical experience.
  • Minimum five years' senior management experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing a medium to large residential aged care home or comparable healthcare service.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and workforce planning experience.
  • Experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities while achieving business and care outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of aged care funding models, government subsidies and regulatory requirements.
