Summary
This is a 3-month contract position with a school or local authority, offering an umbrella rate of £24.54 per hour. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-focused care and support to children and young people in a safe and nurturing residential home. Responsibilities
- Deliver care and support tailored to individual care plans, placement plans, and risk assessments.
- Assist children and young people with daily activities, personal care, education, social development, recreational activities, and independent living skills.
- Foster positive behavior and emotional well-being through consistent support and guidance.
- Encourage the development of confidence, resilience, self-esteem, and independence in young people.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and young people in residential care, schools, pupil referral units (PRUs), supported accommodation, or other regulated care settings.
- Experience supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioral, or complex needs.
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Enhanced DBS required.

- 10 hours per week
- Location: Olive House Children’s Home, 18 St Mary’s Road, Southwark, London, SE15 2DW, United Kingdom
- Biweekly payment schedule
- Enhanced DBS required.
