Residential Property Associate | 2–4 PQE | West End
An excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Associate to join a highly regarded West End firm, working within an established Residential Property team and gaining exposure to high-value residential transactions for HNW individuals, investors, and domestic and international clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Associate at around 2–4 PQE to join an established and growing residential property practice and become a key member of the team. The role offers a varied residential property caseload, covering sales and acquisitions, investment property, refinancing, and auction transactions, with scope to take increasing responsibility for clients and matters.

This established West End firm has built a strong reputation for its partner-led approach and specialist expertise across real estate and complementary areas of law.
Based in the heart of London's West End, the firm has a strong focus on property and works with a diverse client base including HNW individuals, property investors, developers, and businesses. The culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client-focused, with lawyers encouraged to develop strong relationships and take genuine ownership of their work.
The Residential Property team is headed by a highly experienced Partner with over 15 years' experience in property law, advising on all aspects of residential property, including purchases and sales of homes and investment properties, as well as landlord and tenant matters.
The team acts for both domestic and international clients and has particular experience dealing with statement homes, HNW individuals, and residential property investors with portfolios ranging from smaller investments through to larger holdings.

The Role
You will join an established Residential Property team, working alongside experienced lawyers on a varied caseload while taking increasing responsibility and developing your expertise across the full range of residential property matters.
The team handles a broad range of residential property matters, including:
- Sales and purchases of prime and high-value residential property
- Acting for HNW individuals and private clients
- Residential investment and portfolio work
- Buy-to-let transactions
- Auction sales and acquisitions
- Re-financing transactions
- Lease extensions and related landlord and tenant matters
The team also acts for domestic and international clients and has experience advising investors with residential property portfolios, providing the successful candidate with exposure to a commercially interesting and varied client base.
You will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, build confidence in dealing directly with clients, and take increasing ownership of your matters within a supportive and collaborative team.
There is also scope to work alongside colleagues across the firm's wider Real Estate practice, providing a broader understanding of property and the opportunity to develop commercially as a Residential Property lawyer.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2-4 PQE England & Wales qualified solicitor with strong Residential Property experience
- Experience handling residential sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
- Exposure to high-value or prime residential property would be advantageous
- Experience acting for HNW individuals, investors, or other private clients desirable
- A good understanding of residential investment transactions, refinancing, and/or auction work would be beneficial
- Strong technical ability combined with a commercial and client-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients and senior lawyers
- A genuine interest in developing their career within a specialist West End property practice
