Residential Conveyancing | 2+ PQE | Hybrid Working

A growing and ambitious law firm is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join its expanding Property team based near Gatwick.

Having recently opened a new office, the firm is continuing to invest in its growth and is looking to recruit an experienced conveyancer to help support increasing client demand. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and forward-thinking practice that combines high-quality work with genuine flexibility and a supportive team culture.

The Role

You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload while working closely with colleagues in a collaborative and friendly environment. The firm places a strong emphasis on client service and quality over volume, making this an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys building relationships and delivering a high standard of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Building strong relationships with clients, agents, and other professionals
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the department

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
  • At least 2 years' experience within residential conveyancing
  • Confident managing a caseload with appropriate support
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Organised, proactive, and team-oriented approach
