Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer

TSR Legal are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer to join its growing property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified conveyancer with 5+ years' PQE who enjoys traditional residential property work and takes genuine pride in delivering an exceptional level of client service.

The successful candidate will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, taking ownership of matters from instruction through to completion while maintaining a proactive and commercially aware approach.

The Role

As a Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of traditional residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Providing a high level of client care, ensuring clients receive clear, timely and professional communication throughout their matter.
  • Building strong and lasting client relationships through a proactive and responsive approach.
  • Progressing files efficiently and in accordance with internal processes, procedures and agreed service levels.
  • Meeting individual and team targets relating to billing, profitability and cash recovery.
  • Managing the financial aspects of matters appropriately, including write-offs within agreed parameters.
  • Maintaining accurate client and matter records and ensuring case management systems are kept fully up to date.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements and firm procedures.
  • Taking responsibility for your ongoing professional development and keeping your technical knowledge up to date.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and a genuine enthusiasm for traditional residential property work.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of residential property matters.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commercially minded approach and confidence working towards financial and operational targets.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach with a commitment to getting things right.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
  • A commitment to maintaining high professional standards and continuing your development.
