Residential Property Manager
We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and experienced Residential Property Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of our residential portfolio.
The Fara Living business is a family-owned property company with over 150 flats in two buildings, as well as a number of large commercial office buildings. The residential flats are newly converted and finished to a very high specification. Our buildings feature communal workspaces, resident gyms and yoga studios.
This is a leadership position with genuine responsibility and autonomy. You'll be trusted to make decisions, improve processes and take ownership of the systems and administration that keep the business running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a growing family-owned property company.
Key Duties
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of our residential portfolio.
- Ensure the portfolio remains fully compliant with all statutory, regulatory and Health & Safety requirements.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, managing contractors from quotation through to completion.
- Oversee the preparation of apartments during void periods, including coordinating cleaning, maintenance and inventories.
- Manage tenancy administration, including applications, referencing, Right to Rent checks, tenancy agreements, renewals and end-of-tenancy processes.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and property documentation across all property management systems.
- Liaise closely with the Front of House team to coordinate viewings, inspections, contractor access and resident communications, delegating tasks where appropriate.
- Monitor rent accounts and assist with rent arrears where required.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer service.
- Take ownership of your workload, ensuring every task is completed accurately, professionally and on time.

Requirements
- Ideally ARLA Propertymark qualified.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in residential property management or lettings, with strong knowledge of current residential legislation.
- Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- Strong IT literacy and confidence using property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
