Role Description
The Residential Property Paralegal will support solicitors in managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
- Handling client inquiries
- Coordinating with third parties such as estate agents and lenders
- Maintaining accurate file records and case management systems
- Conducting legal research
- Assisting with title checks
- Managing compliance requirements
- Ensuring deadlines are met throughout the transaction lifecycle
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Towcester, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and direct interaction with clients.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in property Law and understanding of residential conveyancing processes.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting contracts, letters, and completion statements.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear, professional interaction with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Ability to conduct thorough Research on property, titles, and relevant legal issues.
- Attention to detail in Document Review to identify discrepancies, risks, and compliance issues.
- Relevant legal qualification or paralegal certification, or equivalent experience in residential property work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to handle multiple files and deadlines.
- Competence in using legal case management systems and standard office software.
- Commitment to client service, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
