Residential Property Senior Associate
A Top 100 UK law firm is seeking a Residential Property Senior Associate to join its growing property practice.
The role offers the chance to work alongside an entrepreneurial Partner who is actively expanding their practice and is looking to appoint their number two.
The successful candidate will combine excellent technical expertise with a proven ability to generate work, develop client relationships and drive business growth. This opportunity is best suited to a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys building a practice, developing referral networks and working with a high degree of autonomy.

- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchase
- High-value residential transactions
- Remortgages and refinancing
- Lease extensions and enfranchisement
- Complex title, covenant and property structuring issues
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a full residential property caseload from instruction through to completion
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of work through personal contacts, referrers and professional networks
- Advising clients directly and building long-term relationships
- Handling complex and high-value transactions with minimal supervision
- Working closely with the Partner on strategic growth initiatives
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff
- Building relationships with agents, brokers, lenders, wealth advisers and other professional introducers
- Playing a visible role in business development, networking and market engagement

About You
Applications are welcomed from Residential Property Solicitors with:
- Significant experience (typically 5+ PQE) handling residential property matters independently
- A strong track record of business development and generating their own work and ideally a portable book of business
- Established relationships with referrers and professional contacts that result in repeat instructions
- Strong technical expertise across freehold and leasehold transactions
- Experience dealing with high-value and complex residential property matters
- Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
