Conveyancer / Property Lawyer

Location: Central London

Job Type: Full-Time

Due to continued growth, an established firm with a strong presence across London and the surrounding regions is seeking an experienced Conveyancer / Property Lawyer to join its busy and successful Residential Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and client-focused legal professional with a minimum of 2 years' PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join a collaborative and forward-thinking firm.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters. This will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build transactions
  • Shared ownership matters
  • Remortgages and transfers of equity
  • First registrations
  • Help to Buy and other scheme-related transactions
  • Unregistered land transactions
  • Auction purchases and sales
  • High-value residential property transactions
  • Liaising with both lenders and borrowers

You will also be expected to:

  • Review and report on title, searches and contract documentation
  • Deal with enquiries
  • Draft and approve legal documentation
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements and Land Registry procedures
  • Advise clients on Building Safety Act (BSA) considerations and other relevant residential property legislation where applicable
  • Manage files efficiently from inception to completion with minimal supervision
