About The Role
This full-time Residential Property Solicitor role in Cheshire suits a conveyancer with three or more years PQE who takes ownership of a busy caseload. Joining an established practice, the successful candidate manages transactions from instruction through to completion, handling sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold work, remortgages, equity release, new-build purchases, and shared ownership. Client contact is central, with direct responsibility for a varied mix of files. Salary is £35,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Strong technical knowledge, clear communication, and the confidence to work autonomously are essential, alongside a genuine interest in residential conveyancing.

The Role
The successful Residential Property Solicitor will become an important part of an established team, dealing directly with clients and managing transactions from instruction through to completion and beyond.

- You will have the autonomy to run your own caseload, working across a broad range of residential property matters.
- You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages and equity release, new-build purchases, and shared ownership matters.
- You will also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts in the local area, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm and making appropriate referrals to other departments.
Skills Required
Applications are sought from Residential Property Solicitors, Legal Executives, or Licensed Conveyancers with a minimum of 3 Years PQE.
- Strong experience across residential conveyancing.
- A proven ability to manage matters independently from start to finish.
- Good knowledge of the Cheshire/local property market.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- A professional, organized, and commercially aware approach.
- Experience supporting or mentoring conveyancing assistants would also be welcomed, as there will be opportunities to share your knowledge and contribute to the development of the wider team.
