An established and well-regarded law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join its property team in the South West.
This is a senior fee-earning opportunity suited to an experienced residential property professional looking to take ownership of a complex, high-value caseload, while playing an active role in client development and supporting more junior members of the team.
The Role
You will manage a full and varied residential property caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, with a particular focus on complex and high-value transactions.
The role includes:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- High-value and complex residential transactions
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New-build and shared ownership matters
- Drafting and negotiating legal documentation
- Land registration and post-completion work
- Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other professionals
- Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior fee earners and support staff
- Supporting marketing, networking, and business development activities
- Contributing to the continued growth of the residential property team

About You
The firm is looking for an experienced residential property professional with a strong technical background and the ability to manage complex matters independently.
You should have:
- Qualified Solicitor status or significant experience as a Residential Conveyancer
- 10+ years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience preferred
- A proven track record managing a full residential property caseload independently
- Strong experience handling complex and high-value transactions
- Excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing and property law
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-care skills
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues is desirable
- Strong organizational and caseload management skills
- Commercial awareness and an interest in developing client relationships and business
- A thorough understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements
