Residential Property Solicitor – Birmingham – 5+ Years' Experience – Competitive Salary + Bonus + Hybrid

An established, full-service law firm is looking to recruit a Residential Property Solicitor for its Birmingham office. This CQS-accredited conveyancing team forms part of a firm with a network of offices across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor in Birmingham to take on a full caseload with autonomy, supported by conveyancing assistants and a well-established local client base.

Offering hybrid working after probation, an annual bonus linked to fee income and a generous holiday package including a bonus holiday scheme, this role is ideal for a Residential Property Solicitor seeking quality work, a strong benefits package and genuine work-life balance.

The Role

  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Dealing with remortgages and equity release transactions
  • Investigating and verifying freehold and leasehold titles
  • Handling transfers of equity and matrimonial property matters
  • Supervising and mentoring conveyancing assistants
  • Developing relationships with clients and contacts in the local area
  • Cross-referring clients to other departments across the firm
  • Working in line with CQS protocols and the firm's compliance requirements

The Candidate

  • Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with at least 5 years' full-time fee earning experience
  • Hands-on experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge across sales, purchases, remortgages, equity release and transfers of equity
  • Good knowledge of the local area and its property market
  • Experience supervising or mentoring support staff
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Committed to CQS protocols and high professional standards
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
