Residential Property Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer (4+ PQE) - Hertfordshire - Up to £70k + Benefits

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Practitioner to join its highly regarded Property team in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to join an award-winning practice with a dominant market presence and an established reputation for delivering high-quality residential property advice.

The Residential Property team is one of the firm's largest and most successful departments, attracting a high volume of quality work across the region. Working alongside Partners, Associates, and experienced colleagues, you will benefit from a collaborative and supportive environment whilst managing your own busy caseload.

The firm advises a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and long-standing private clients. The Role:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold sale and purchase transactions
  • Managing leasehold sales and purchases
  • Providing exceptional client service throughout the transaction process
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, developers, and third parties
  • Building and maintaining strong referrer and client relationships
  • Supporting business development and networking initiatives
  • Working autonomously whilst benefiting from colleague support and guidance
  • Utilising case management systems to progress matters efficiently

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Practitioner with Conveyancing Practice Rights
  • 4+ years' PQE within Residential Property law
  • Strong experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong attention to detail and technical ability
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
  • Positive attitude towards personal development and progression
