We are looking for a Residential Conveyancing professional to lead one of our Residential Property teams. This would be an attractive opportunity for a motivated leader who wants to combine technical expertise with team development, client relationship management and strategic impact.
You'll lead a team of Conveyancers and Paralegals, ensuring the delivery of outstanding client service while supporting the development and success of your team.

What does the job involve?
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Conveyancer, Paralegals and Trainees, providing coaching, supervision and technical guidance to support individual and team success.
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, handling transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and shared ownership matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, estate agents and other stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring exceptional levels of client care throughout the transaction process.
- Oversee team workflow and performance, allocating files effectively according to capability and capacity while ensuring deadlines, service standards and business objectives are achieved.
- Provide technical expertise on complex matters, supporting colleagues with legal queries, problem-solving and risk management while maintaining high-quality legal advice and outcomes.
- Drive compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to SRA, CQS and Lexcel standards while promoting efficient, technology-driven and paper-light ways of working.

What do you need?
- Proven residential conveyancing expertise, with at least 3 years' experience managing your own caseload and a thorough understanding of freehold, leasehold, re-mortgage and related property transactions.
- Leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring, developing or supervising colleagues and the ability to motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence engaging clients, introducers and colleagues while delivering exceptional levels of client service.
- Effective organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines and provide practical solutions to complex matters.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, demonstrating initiative, commercial awareness and a genuine commitment to supporting team and departmental success.
- Technical proficiency and compliance awareness, including experience with case management systems, Land Registry Portal, conveyancing software and relevant regulatory standards.
