Residential Property Solicitor

Take Ownership of a Busy, Varied Caseload

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a thriving conveyancing team. You'll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering high-quality legal work within a supportive, collaborative environment. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and handling a broad mix of residential transactions.


What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Meeting clients in person, over the phone and via correspondence to take instructions and provide advice
  • Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new-build transactions
  • Progressing files from initial instruction to completion while maintaining excellent service standards
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts and transfer deeds
  • Offering clear, timely and practical advice to clients
  • Organising, developing and managing your own workload
  • Maintaining client files professionally and in line with required standards
  • Keeping an effective diary system to ensure smooth progression of matters
  • Handling enquiries and preparing quotes
  • Building relationships, creating networking opportunities and supporting new business generation
  • Staying up to date with changes in property law and completing learning activities required for ongoing competence
