Residential Property Solicitor / Legal Executive – Peterborough

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Location: Peterborough
Firm: Legal 500-ranked regional law firm
Experience: 1+ Years PQE
Work Options: Hybrid/Flexible

Oculus Legal Group is working in partnership with a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked regional law firm that is continuing to invest heavily in the growth of its Residential Property department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm that is in the middle of an ambitious five-year growth strategy, with both revenue and headcount already well ahead of schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property transactions.
  • Provide clear, commercially aware advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring an exceptional standard of client care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team and contribute to the continued success of the department.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced residential property professional.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience handling a residential property caseload.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • A proactive and ambitious approach, with a desire to continue developing your technical expertise.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
