Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer – Huntingdon
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Location: Huntingdon
Firm: Regional law firm (Legal 500 recognised)
Experience: 2+ PQE
Work Options: Hybrid
A well-established, Legal 500 recognised regional law firm is looking to expand its Residential Property team due to continued growth and an increase in instructions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor or Conveyancer to join a highly regarded team, working closely with experienced fee earners within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The firm offers a genuinely down-to-earth culture, with a strong emphasis on mentoring, professional development, and long-term career progression. The team has an excellent reputation across the local market and handles a broad range of quality residential conveyancing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post-completion.
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Advise on transfers of equity, remortgages, and equity release matters.
- Deal with new build transactions and shared ownership matters where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a high level of service.
- Support and engage in business development initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within the team while developing your own caseload and profile.

Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (CILEX considered).
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE within residential property.
- Ability to manage files independently.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
- Interest in working within a growing and supportive firm environment.
