🏠 Residential Property Surveyor | Northwich, Cheshire

£50,000+ DOE | OTE £65,000 | Hybrid | Full-time

Are you an experienced Residential Property Surveyor looking for a role where quality comes before quantity? This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We're working with a growing, RICS-regulated surveying practice that places a genuine emphasis on professional standards, client service and work-life balance. You'll typically complete 5–6 surveys per week, giving you the time to carry out thorough inspections, produce quality reports and provide clients with clear, practical advice.

🔎 The Role

You'll carry out RICS Level 1, 2 and 3 residential surveys across Cheshire, including:

  • Detailed residential property inspections
  • Identifying defects and building pathology
  • Producing your own professional reports
  • Providing clear advice on property condition and repairs
  • Managing your own diary and report turnaround times
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team

The role is primarily field-based across Cheshire, with report writing completed from home. 📍 Office: One afternoon per week to attend the staff meeting.

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong and genuinely good with people. You'll need:

  • ✅ AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS membership — AssocRICS is the minimum
  • ✅ Residential property surveying experience
  • ✅ Strong building pathology and defect knowledge
  • ✅ Excellent report-writing skills
  • ✅ Strong client-facing communication skills
  • ✅ Full UK driving licence

A drone licence is advantageous, but training can be provided.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who demonstrates integrity, professionalism and a client-first approach.

Someone approachable, down-to-earth and confident without being overbearing — who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career within a growing practice.

💰 What's on offer?

  • £50,000+ salary, depending on experience
