Residential Service Manager
Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway
£41,000–£47,000 per year (Dependent on experience and qualifications) + on-call payments
Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Permanent.

We are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced Residential Service Manager to join Care Visions within our South cluster - where innovation, relationship-based practice and high quality care is at the heart of everything we do.

What will you be doing?
As our Residential Service Manager, you will lead and inspire a committed staff team within a nurturing, caring and relational culture. You will champion high standards of practice to ensure children receive exceptional, trauma-informed support.

You won't be working in isolation. Our services are part of a connected cluster of residential services, giving you access to a strong network of peer support, shared expertise and collaborative leadership. You'll join a group of experienced Managers who meet regularly, problem solve together and offer practical and emotional support when needed. This structure ensures you're never alone in facing challenges and can draw on a wealth of knowledge to continually strengthen the service and outcomes for young people.
Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday (with rotational out of hours, duty management responsibilities including weekends. You will be part of a group of on-call managers with support from a senior duty manager).
Who are we looking for?
You will bring:
- At least 2 years' experience in Residential Child Care or a relevant management/leadership role.
- Professional qualifications in Social Work/Social Care. SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 9 or SVQ Leadership and Management for Care Services at SCQF Level 10 (desirable).
- A collaborative approach with experience working alongside multiagency professionals.
- Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.
- A full driving licence due to the travel requirements of the role.
