£33,488 Salary + £2,000 Joining Bonus

We’re opening a brand-new, two-bed children’s home near Spalding and we’re looking for great Residential Support Workers to join the team.
This is a small, focused home supporting a maximum of two young people, which means you’ll have the time to build genuine relationships, provide consistent support and be part of creating a home that feels safe, calm and welcoming.
No huge unit.
No endless corridors.

THE PACKAGE
- £33,488 salary
- 40.25 hours per week

ABOUT THE HOME
Our new Spalding service will be a small two-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with EBD, SEMH, trauma and complex needs.
Our approach is therapeutic, trauma-informed and relationship-based.
We focus on:
- Positive Behaviour Support
- PACE
- Trauma-informed practice
- Building safe and trusting relationships
- Consistency and clear boundaries
- Helping young people develop confidence and independence

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be part of the young person’s everyday life.
That means helping with the ordinary things as well as the difficult ones.
Your role will include:
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Supporting daily routines and structure
- Helping with education, appointments and activities
- Supporting young people to develop life skills and independence
- Providing emotional support during difficult moments
- Helping young people regulate their emotions
- Promoting positive behaviour and healthy choices
- Supporting safeguarding and following care plans
- Completing clear and accurate records
- Working closely with your colleagues and the Registered Manager
- Helping create a safe, welcoming and homely environment

Previous experience in children’s residential care is desirable, but attitude, values and the ability to build strong relationships are just as important.
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare would be advantageous, although training and development can be provided for the right person.
