About the Service

Ty Laura is a vibrant, nurturing respite service supporting children and young people with additional learning and health needs.

We provide overnight stays for up to four young people, offering families meaningful respite while creating positive experiences that benefit the whole community.

Ty Laura is a “bustling hive of activity” where every day is different and every achievement matters, from shared celebrations to milestones like a young person proudly tying their shoelaces for the first time.

With five uniquely designed bedrooms and a warm, home‑from‑home environment, Ty Laura helps young people feel safe, settled, and supported to grow in confidence.

About the role

This Residential Support Worker role is the perfect entry point into Social Care, requiring no previous experience just a positive attitude and a genuine desire to support children and young people.

You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment where wellbeing, growth and independence are prioritised, offering personalised care, guidance and advocacy.

Every shift brings opportunities to learn, reflect and develop, supported by a strong team, with regular supervision and a thorough induction.

Staff are encouraged to bring their own interests and talents into the home, enriching the experiences we offer young people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
