Location: Ilford, East London
Service: Four-bed children’s residential home
Job type: Full-time, permanent
We are recruiting residential support workers for a four-bed children’s residential home in Ilford.
The home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide consistent care, structure and positive role modelling.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children with daily routines and activities
- Promoting emotional regulation and independence
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviour
- Delivering key-work sessions
- Supporting care plans and risk assessments
- Completing daily records and incident reports
- Supporting education, appointments and community activities
- Following safeguarding and missing-from-care procedures

Requirements
- Recent UK children’s residential experience
- Experience supporting EBD or complex behaviours
- Level 3 Residential Childcare preferred
- Good safeguarding knowledge
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
