Role Description
The Residential Surveyor will carry out building surveys, RICS surveys, and residential property valuations, producing clear, accurate, and timely reports for clients. Day-to-day tasks include:

This is a full-time hybrid role, based in the Tyneside area, with a mix of site visits, office-based tasks, and some work from home for report writing and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in residential building inspection, defect identification, and property condition assessment.
- Experience with RICS standards, residential valuation techniques, and relevant property regulations.
- Proficiency in report writing, clear written communication, and use of surveying software and digital tools.
- Effective client communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings in accessible language.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- RICS accreditation or progress toward professional membership (e.g., AssocRICS or MRICS) is highly desirable.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to transport for travel to properties across the Tyneside area.
- Previous experience in residential surveying or related property/consultancy roles is an advantage.
