Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded property consultancy to recruit a qualified AssocRICS or MRICS Residential Surveyor covering Taunton and the surrounding Somerset region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor with experience undertaking Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 surveys who is looking to join a busy and successful team with a strong reputation across the South West.
The role will involve carrying out a varied mix of residential valuations, HomeBuyer Reports and building surveys across a broad range of property types, from town centre homes to village and rural properties. The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of autonomy whilst benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake residential valuations across a variety of property types
- Carry out Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys
- Undertake Level 3 Building Surveys where appropriate (training can be provided)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver a professional and high-quality service
- Support business development activities and generate new opportunities
- Manage your own workload and diary effectively
About You
- AssocRICS or MRICS qualified
- Experience undertaking residential surveys and valuations
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
- Commercially minded with good networking abilities
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
