Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker, Care Coordinator or Team Leader looking for a rewarding leadership role where you can truly make a difference?

At David Lewis, we support people with complex epilepsy, autism, learning disabilities and neurological conditions to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to join one of our specialist residential homes at our beautiful 165-acre site near Alderley Edge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care whilst leading, motivating and developing a team of Support Workers

The Role

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will take responsibility for leading shifts and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.

  • Leading and supporting a team of Support Workers during shifts
  • Administering and supervising medication rounds
  • Managing daily staffing and rota requirements
  • Reviewing and updating care plans, risk assessments and person-centred goals
  • Working closely with families, healthcare professionals and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Writing and presenting reports for annual reviews and care meetings
  • Conducting supervisions, appraisals and performance management
  • Supporting recruitment, induction and development of new staff
  • Promoting a culture that is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced:

  • Senior Support Workers
  • Team Leaders
  • Care Coordinators
  • Deputy Team Leaders
  • Experienced Support Workers ready for progression

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Significant experience in a care or support environment
  • Strong understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience supporting people with complex need
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Level 3 or 4 Health & Social Care qualification
  • Experience within specialist disability, autism, epilepsy or learning disability services

Shift Pattern

Early Shift: 7:30am - 3:00pm

Late Shift: 2:00pm - 9:30pm

You'll work a mixture of early and late shifts, including a minimum of 2 weekends in every 4.
