Job Description
Work with the market leader in one of Scotland’s most affluent residential markets.
For more than 23 years, Corum has been building its presence across East Renfrewshire.
Today, from Newton Mearns and Giffnock to Clarkston, Netherlee and the surrounding areas, we operate in one of Scotland’s most established, competitive and desirable residential markets. It is a market built on relationships, reputation and results – and we are looking for an experienced residential valuer to become part of its next chapter.
This is an opportunity to join the market leader for estate agency in Scotland, in an area where Corum has spent more than two decades developing an exceptional client base, an extensive database of active buyers and a reputation that opens doors. For the right person, that provides a considerable platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You will work across East Renfrewshire and the surrounding Southside market, advising homeowners on some of the area’s finest family homes and helping to build upon a position that has taken 23 years to establish.
You will be trusted to develop relationships, provide intelligent and considered advice on pricing and strategy, win instructions and represent Corum in a market where experience, credibility and local knowledge matter.
We are looking for someone who already understands what makes a great estate agent. Someone commercially minded, personable and credible. Someone who knows that winning business is not about promising the highest price or charging the lowest fee, but about earning a client’s trust and delivering on it.
You may already be an established valuer within the Glasgow or East Renfrewshire market. You may be performing exceptionally well but questioning what the next stage of your career looks like.

If so, we think that conversation is worth having.
Corum offers the strength, marketing capability and infrastructure of one of Scotland’s leading independent estate agencies, together with something much harder to replicate: a market position built over 23 years.
For exceptional individuals, there is scope for this position to develop far beyond the traditional boundaries of a senior valuer role, with the opportunity to become a genuinely important part of the future of the business.
Twenty-three years built the market and the next chapter is still to be written – if you know this market, know how to win instructions and believe you could make an impact, we would like to hear from you.
All conversations will be treated in the strictest confidence.
