Residual Value (RV) Manager

Salary: £70000 – £85000
Start Date: ASAP
Workstyle: 5 days on site
Location: London

This is a fascinating role, part detective work, part strategy, and part corporate economist. My client is looking for a new RV Manager to bolster their sales as the UK automotive industry evolves. This is a strategic level role, requiring an in-depth understanding of the UK market, fleet and leasing practices and costs, used vehicle markets, and protecting long-term brand value. This role is best suited for someone who regularly works with senior stakeholders, influences vehicle lifecycle decisions, fleet strategy and product positioning. A really exciting role at a very influential level, at a turning point in the UK car industry.

RV Strategy & Forecasting

  • Own and develop the UK RV strategy across the vehicle portfolio, establishing and maintaining RV forecasts and targets across different vehicle lifecycles, terms and mileages.
  • Monitor RV performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement actions to protect vehicle and brand value.
  • Develop forecasting models, reporting and market insights to support commercial decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
