Job Title: Resilience and Emergency Planning Administrator
Location: Durrington, Worthing (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week - (Flexible - preferably spread across the week, however this can be discussed at interview)
Salary: £26,721 (pro rata’d)
About the Role
The Resilience and Emergency Planning Administrator will be a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating, populating and managing our Incident Management Rotas, while providing comprehensive administrative support across the Resilience & Emergency Planning Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting Southern Water's incident response.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- A variety of clerical duties, including; the administration and management of the Incident Management Standby Rotas
- Document processing
- Record keeping
- Maintenance of information and databases (including SharePoint based applications and the Incident Management System)
- Preparing mailings, documents and reports
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Previous experience within an administrative/business support environment is desirable.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a reliable team player.
- Highly organised, managing competing priorities and consistently able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exchanging information and communicating in a clear and concise way.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of tasks while remaining collaborative and supportive of colleagues.
- Ability to analyse information and produce accurate reports.
- Detail-focused, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience managing shared mailboxes, databases, or document management systems would be advantageous.
