Resilience Risk Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Resilience Risk Manager.
Working with business, Risk, Operations, Technology, Third-Party Management and governance stakeholders, you will ensure that resilience risks are identified, assessed, managed and escalated through appropriate governance forums. The role will support senior management in understanding the resilience profile of the business and in making informed decisions about investment, remediation and risk acceptance. The role will provide subject-matter expertise and practical support globally across the Asset Management business on resilience risk, including business continuity, third-party management, cyber and technology and transaction processing.
In this role you will:
- Lead and enhance the UK Asset Management Business Continuity framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Group standards.
- Act as a first line of defence SME for resilience risk, covering business continuity, operational resilience, cyber, technology, third-party, and transaction processing risks.
- Partner with global stakeholders across Risk, Operations, Technology, Cyber, Compliance, Legal, and Procurement to identify, assess, and mitigate resilience risks.
- Drive business continuity planning for AM globally, including impact assessments and recovery strategies
- Manage business continuity testing programmes in the UK, including scenario exercises, incident simulations, lessons learned, and remediation actions.
- Support incident management, governance forums, audits, regulatory reviews, and resilience risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor resilience risk metrics, drive issue resolution, challenge control weaknesses, and ensure timely escalation of material risks.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide practical regulatory guidance, and promote a risk-based culture of resilience across global Asset Management operations.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Significant experience in resilience risk, business continuity, technology risk, crisis management, operational resilience or a related financial services discipline.
- Strong understanding of operational, cyber, technology, third-party and people-related resilience risks.
- Proven track record designing, implementing or overseeing business continuity and resilience frameworks within regulated organisations.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, governance committees, risk and control owners, and assurance functions.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, risk-based business actions.
- Experience coordinating resilience testing, incident response activities, and driving continuous improvement from lessons learned.
- Strong communication, influencing, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to senior audiences.
- Knowledge of asset management or related financial services activities, alongside strong organisational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and relevant resilience or risk qualifications preferred.
