🌟 Resource Consultant – Bristol

Connex Education | £25,000 - £28,000 per annum + Commission | Full Training Provided OTE £35- £40K per annum

Connex Education is looking for a Resource Consultant to join our friendly Bristol team.

You don’t need previous recruitment experience. What we’re really looking for is someone with a strong work ethic, great communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in working with people and education.

What will you be doing?

As a Resource Consultant, you’ll play an important role in helping us find and support great education professionals for schools.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Advertising vacancies and attracting suitable candidates
  • Searching CV databases and identifying potential candidates
  • Speaking to candidates over the phone and having detailed conversations to understand their experience, skills and suitability
  • Building strong and lasting relationships with candidates
  • Qualifying candidates and matching them with suitable school opportunities
  • Supporting candidates through our thorough compliance and vetting process
  • Working closely with schools to help provide them with the right staff
  • Keeping candidates informed and supported throughout their journey
  • Working towards targets while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a customer service-based role, either face-to-face or over the phone
  • Is confident speaking to people and isn't frightened of picking up the phone
  • Is resilient, hardworking and motivated
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Has a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Can work at pace while maintaining high standards
  • Has a genuine interest in education and working with people
  • Has a great sense of humour and enjoys being part of a team
  • Is a morning person – our day starts at 7.15am!
  • Has GCSE English and Maths at Grade C / Grade 5 or above

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 7.15am – 4.15pm
  • Once fully trained, working from home on Wednesdays is available.

When schools are closed, we offer reduced working hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 10am – 3pm
  • Friday: 10am – 1pm
