We are partnering with a leading global technology organisation.
As part of continued growth across the EMEA region, they are seeking an experienced Resource Manager to play a critical role in aligning specialist talent with high-impact customer engagements.
Contractor 6 months+
London based - hybrid 1-2 days per week in office (potential to go remote overtime)
£450 - £550 per day
This is a highly visible position where you will act as a strategic partner to Professional Services leadership, ensuring the right people are deployed to the right projects at the right time, driving both customer success and employee development.
As a Resource Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end resource planning process across a portfolio of customer projects and consulting engagements. You will work closely with delivery leaders, consultants, partners, and stakeholders to optimise utilisation, forecast demand, and ensure successful project staffing across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage resource allocation across professional and education services engagements.
- Coordinate staffing requirements from opportunity stage through project delivery.
- Ensure customers have timely access to the appropriate skills and expertise required for successful project outcomes.
- Drive transparency and visibility across resource planning and utilisation activities.
- Resolve resource conflicts, scheduling challenges, and changing business priorities.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external delivery partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of consultants' skills, experience, career aspirations, and development plans.
- Analyse utilisation, productivity, capacity, and future demand to support workforce planning decisions.
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support business growth and operational effectiveness.

Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience in Resource Management within a Professional Services environment.
- Strong workforce planning, forecasting, and resource allocation expertise.
- Excellent organisational, project management, and prioritisation skills.
- Experience working with PSA and CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce and FinancialForce.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving resource challenges.
- Knowledge of relevant labour and employment regulations across multiple regions.
