Resource Manager – 6 Month Contract

Hampshire

2 days onsite; 3 days working from home

We are recruiting for a Resource Manager to join a technology-focused organisation in Hampshire on an initial 6-month Inside IR35 contract, with a strong possibility of extension. The role is hybrid.

The Resource Manager will be responsible for managing resource demand and availability across a portfolio of projects, working closely with project stakeholders, Resource Managers, and Line Managers to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand project demand and resourcing requirements.
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources based on skills, experience, and availability.
  • Work closely with Resource Managers and Line Managers to manage capacity and optimise resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate visibility of resource availability, utilisation, and upcoming demand.
  • Identify and resolve potential resource conflicts and allocation issues.
  • Support project delivery teams with effective workforce planning and resourcing.
  • Contribute to improvements in resource management processes and ways of working.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Operational Resourcing, or Resource Planning.
  • Experience working within a technical, technology, or professional services environment is desirable.
  • Experience within a defence environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A practical and collaborative approach to resolving resourcing challenges.
  • Security Clearance would be preferred.
