We have a full-time vacancy for a Resource Officer within the Conquest Hospital Discharge Team, which is based on site at the Conquest Hospital.
As a Resource Officer in Adult Social Care, you will play a key role in the assessment of adults who are currently in hospital and will support them to arrange care in order to facilitate their discharge.

You will also be expected to carry out the Local Authorities safeguarding duties to protect and mitigate risks to the individuals we serve.
We have excellent relationships with local partners and hospital trusts, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside other professionals to ensure good outcomes for the individuals you are working with. - Are able to communicate effectively with a range of people
- Are motivated about supporting others to achieve their outcomes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
